Physical Overview

Design: The all new Realme Pad X is fully finished in plastic but it is certainly a good quality plastic alloy used with matt-finish. The tablet houses the Power and 2-speakers on the Top along with the Volume buttons on the Right side followed by Two speakers and a Type-C port at the Bottom, on the Left side it has a cut out for Sim & MicroSD slot . The Pad houses a 13MP back camera at the rear and on the front side comes with a 8MP front camera. It has no fingerprint sensor only face-unlock, it works pretty well in good lighting and also in every orientation. Overall the tablet feels premium and justifies its price.

Weight: The weight ranges from  499grams(approx.) depending on the variants you choose. The weight is fairly manageable is day to day usage.

Display & Software

Display: The Realme Pad X comes fitted with a 11-inch TFT panel. The Pad X also have a screen resolution of 2000 x 1200 and is a good quality display. It has a peak brightness of about 450nits and is easily visible outdoors. Sadly this Pad X comes with a just 60Hz refresh rate screen but the overall performance is decent enough but you will certainly miss the higher refresh rates. Overall this is a very good display and display, the colours and the viewing angles are also impressive .

Software: The Realme Pad X comes out of the box with Android-12 with Realme UI-3 on top of it. The tablet comes with a few software features for enhancements of the usage.

There are a few apps tweaked for the tablet itself and they also work pretty well and can also use the larger screen real-estate. It also supports Realme Pencil and Keyboard for a better experience. On the Sim-variants it also supports Carrier Aggregation for better speeds.
The software is a bit laggy and needs optimization, hopefully it will be solved with up  coming software updates.

Sound, Battery & Camera

Sound: The Realme Pad X comes with a quad speakers setup with Dolby Atmos and the quality of sound is certainly very impressive. The speakers have adequate loudness and also base whenever required. Overall the speakers are pretty amazing in the range.

Camera & microphone: The tablet houses a 12MP rear camera and a 8MP front camera. The rear camera is decent enough to use  normally but is certainly lags behind along with it the lack of flash module is also a major drawback. On the other hand the 8MP front camera is quite decent and also comes with "Auto-Framing" (the camera adjusts itself with the movement of the subject). Overall the performance of the cameras are decent enough.
The microphone is also improved and is performs pretty well.

Rear View

Battery: The Realme Pad X comes paired with a 8340Whr battery and with a 33Watt charger and the battery life and charging is pretty impressive. One can get anywhere between 5-7hours of screen on time depending on the usage and can also increase depending on the usage.

Performance

Gaming Performance: The Realme Pad X have been tested with various demanding games and they were pretty decent at the lowest settings and also the speaker output also enhanced the overall experience. If you are a hardcore gamer then it is not for you but for casual light games it is fine.

Overall performance:  The Tablet come with Snapdragon 695 paired with Adreno 619 and the performance is decent enough. You can do casual work or consume media such as Youtube, Netflix, etc. and it will handle everything pretty smoothly. It can handle
multi-window without any issues. Overall performs decently considering the price.

Verdict

The all new Realme Pad X starts around Rs 20,000 (may vary). The tablet packs in pretty impressive value for money experience. It performs decently and mainly targets casual users who wants to see movies, browsing the web or students for casual usage, attending online  classes. I can recommend this tablet for that types of usage but not at all for more demanding works flows.
