In Real life,

Lenovo Ideapad Flex-5

Lenovo Ideapad  Flex-5

Pros                                                                                    Cons

1. Better battery life.                                                                1. No upgrade available.
2. Is a bit cheaper.                                                                    2. Completely plastic build.
3. Better performance.
4. Comes with a pen.(Out of the box)

Overall Experience

Build & Design: The Lenovo Ideapad Flex-5 is completely made up of plastic, yet solidly build. It carries a very minimalist yet elegant approach. The look and feel is premium and there is pretty less flex on the top lid as well as the keyboard. The hinge is superb and even after years it holds pretty well. Overall pretty amazing build and looks.

Performance: The performance is pretty solid in every aspect, just as expected. It can handle 1080p video editing and any kind of photo-editing and other basic works like browsing the internet, using MS office, etc. as a breeze.

The tablet mode also works flawlessly and the pen just adds up to the overall experience of the 2 in 1 laptop. The palm rejection while using as a tablet and disabling the keyboard is just on point and paired with the battery and performance, it is certainly going to attract a lot of creative professionals who don't have extreme tasks.

Verdict: The laptop costs just under Rs 70,000, and in this price point the performance and overall experience is pretty good. Overall the product is pretty impressive but the one major thing is than it only comes with 8GB of memory, which can be an issue for a lot of content creators. If this is not an issue for you, then you can just  go for it, you won't regret.

HP Pavilion x360

HP Pavilion x360

Pros                                                                                    Cons

1. Build quality is superior.                                                    1.  Does not come with a pen.
2. Comes with more RAM
3. Colours produced is a bit better. (In real life)

Overall Experience

Build & Design: The Hp Pavilion x360 is also made up of plastic from outside, but in inside there is metal finish which just adds to the premium ness in the overall build. Like the other laptop, this also is given a professional look and feel to it. There is almost no flex whatsoever.
The hinge is not as of the Flex-5 but is pretty good. Overall the build is pretty good and you won't have any complain.

Performance: The performance is also pretty solid and every basic task is very easily done. Though the actual CPU performance lacks a bit than the Flex-5 but the extra RAM shows it's  presence when a pretty demanding task is being performed. The difference is not pretty huge but is  significant for a bit hard core user, doing multi-tasking.
Overall performance is pretty similar to the Flex-5 and everything you can do there can be done here as well and in some cases the extra RAM also is beneficial.
The tablet mode also works pretty similarly but the only downside is that you have to buy a pen separately which better in the Flex-5. Overall you can't go wrong with any one of these.

Verdict: The Hp Pavilion x360 ranges between Rs 70,000-75,000 and again you have to invest more Rs 8,000-10,000 for the pen which can significantly raise the price. I would say that if you just don't do multi-tasking a lot then just go with the Flex-5 which is a more value for money product than this, but if the extra RAM is required then ofcourse this is the only option available.
