Exterior Overview

Front View: The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro is given a very minimalist look, it is pretty light weight. The build quality is on the premium side and it is very evident just by holding it. The entire body is made up of anti-fingerprint aluminium but there is a noticeable flex both on the screen and keyboard but it has also got Military grade certification(MIL-STD-810G). The design is very minimalist and hence very professional. On the lid there lies the SAMSUNG logo which adds up the elegance of the Book 2 Pro.

                                             

Rear View: On the rear the same build is carried on. There is also rubber padding which provides better grip to the laptop.

The lid of the laptop can be opened with one hand.

Weight: The laptop weighs in about 870gram and thus making the laptop ultra portable.

Interior Overview

Screen & webcam: The lid opens to reveal a 13.3-inch Super AMOLED display surrounded by narrow bezels on three sides. The same design language is also continued inside as well. The material used is aluminium same as the exterior and built quality is just the same. There is a bit of flex on the keyboard. Overall the hinge is pretty good and sturdy. The Galaxy Book 2 Pro is also equipped with a all new 1080p webcam which also supports auto-framing and various other effects for better webcam results which is quite impressive and the microphone is also improved.

                   

Keyboard and Trackpad

                   

Keyboard & Trackpad:  Beneath the display there is the chicklet style keyboard which has pretty satisfying typing experience with backlight enabled.
The glass trackpad is also large and the experience is also pretty good and also supports all the windows gestures.
The power button also houses the Fingerprint sensor which is very fast and works flawlessly every time.  

Display, Sound & Software

Display: The new Galaxy Book 2 Pro comes with a 13.3-inch 60Hz Super AMOLED-display with a resolution of 1920x1080. The brightness is also decent enough which is 500 nits. The display is also Wide Colour (P3) Colour accurate and also have superb viewing angles. Overall pretty impressive display and you will enjoy using the display.

                             

Sound: The Galaxy Book 2 Pro houses a pair of down-firing speakers and is adequately loud and the sound quality is also pretty impressive, no complains.

Software:   The Galaxy Book 2 Pro also comes with the latest Windows 11 Home and also MS Office 2021 lifetime. The laptop also comes with McAfee Live Safe (trial) software for added virus protection. Along with it this the Galaxy Book 2 Pro is also equiped with Samsung Specific apps for an ecosystem, if you use any Samsung phone there are also a lot of added benefits.

Battery Life: The Galaxy Book 2 Pro is Intel EVO  certified and hence it has lasts more more than 9 hours, in our testing it lasted more than 10 hours. You can expect a screen on time of 8-11 hours depending on the task you perform.

Performance

The Galaxy Book 2 Pro can run even the most of the heaviest apps and softwares smoothly. 
We tested this machine a lot and it never struggled. You can easily do any and every kind of tasks and it can handle very easily. Full HD video-editing, all kinds of photoshop related work, etc. is pretty smooth. 
There is nothing to say about the performance it can handle any work given to it, there is no over heating found while testing and overall the performance is also quite sustained and does not drop with extended usage.

 

Verdict

The Galaxy Book 2 Pro starts is in the range of Rs 1,09,990, for the i7 variants to get better performance and also to future proof it, so that you can use it for a couple of years. It also comes with intel core i5, best buy link for every variant is provided below.
Now considering the price, the performance is pretty impressive along with the Samsung's ecosystem. This laptop is mainly for the professionals who don't need too much power and a light weight form factor. For those kinds of work flows this a very good option.
